The brief
This customer was incredibly frustrated with their existing service provider. They signed on for a 60 month agreement on a new business phone system, phone lines and internet service.
They were not getting the service that they were promised. Internet speed was a serious issue, the bill was much higher than what was discussed, nobody knew how to use the new phone system and their main business number was not being displayed on outgoing calls.
They tried to rectify this with the provider and after 8 months we were recommended to them by an IT partner.
After auditing their account we found out the following;
- Phone system was going to cost them $45k over the 5years
- They were paying for 3 internet services when they only needed one.
The solution
We encouraged then to involve the Telecommunications Ombudsman so that they can exit the contract without penalty and return the over priced phone system.
Business Telco Solutions to provide a new phone system, internet service and now manage their phone lines.
The result
The customer was able to have their contract voided via the TIO. They were able to send back their over priced phone system and we delivered a brand new system for less than $10k.
We trained the team on how to use the system. We also supplied a new internet connection and disconnected the other 3 from the old provider.
We also ensured that all outgoing calls were now presenting the main business phone number.
